I was rather anxious in that moment, attempting to get images taken for the Lilac Project before the sun went down. With every blink there was a new perfect shade and a new moment to risk losing. It was a nice dance of awe at each glimpse of perfection, while my brain did all sorts of perfectly imperfect thinks about choosing and noticing.
