When I am here
what part of me do you love
do you fantasize about
you can paint
when you feel
who are you
do you ask
do you dream
illusions and puffy things
you wake up
you think me gone
was never here
missing the view
of the image
in the mirror
wisps of air

Beautiful poem. Particularly like “eye” for “I” which makes the visual of not being there all the more real.
Thank you for reading and sharing of your thoughts. I used eye there, in order to shift from I to visual eye, as in perceptive physical sight. 🙂
It is and ending I, and a beginning of the the next section as eye.
