Sweet Desires–Purple Profundity: Poetry by Elisabeth Connelley

The wind moves
through my fingertips
as I trace the outline of your face
Your spirit moves me
to tears
the rain pours down upon the river
flows
outward
complete
circle of creation
moving sun’s warmth
following my fingers
along the edge
trees
turn leaves
to listen
softly sighs again
remembered
